Hull City are reportedly considering appointing Alberto Zaccheroni as their new manager.
According to reports from Tutto Mercato, Premier League side Hull City are planning to appoint Alberto Zaccheroni as the replacement for former manager Steve Bruce.
The sudden resignation of Bruce from his position as manager of Hull in July has certainly rocked the Tigers and with less than two weeks to go before the start of the upcoming Premier League season, the club hierarchy need to put a permanent man in charge sooner rather than later.
Names such as Chris Coleman (BBC), Roberto Martinez (Yorkshire Post) and Bob Bradley (Hull Daily Mail) have all been linked with the hot seat at the KC Stadium over the past week and now according to reports emerging from Italy, former AC Milan boss Zaccheroni has also been mentioned as a candidate.
Tutto Mercato claim that Hull want to put in a permanent manager in charge before the start of the first Premier League set of fixtures and the club have identified Zaccheroni, who is currently available, as an option.
Zaccheroni is a vastly experienced manager who has managed the likes of Lazio, Inter, Juventus and Torino but arguably his crowning moment came with AC Milan back in the 1998/99 season after he led the Rossoneri to the Serie A title.
Zaccheroni was most recently the manager of Chinese side Beijing Guoan and he was sacked back in January following a terrible run of results.
The 63-year-old is a very big name in management and has undoubtedly enjoyed a wonderful career but he would be a risky appointment for Hull due to his lack of prior experience in the Premier League.
